Manhasett bay. It's like a Sea Ray museum. I think there is one of every model Sea Ray has ever made. Just on my dock alone (one arm thing) there is a 300 weekender, 260da, 270da, (2)280da, (2)290da, 300da, 320da and a few bowriders thrown in.

ah, port washington? yeah, SRs dominate on barnegat bay too. and from what my buddy on the chesapeake tells me, near baltimore they're all over the place there too.

Grandkids are at the house today. There still is enough snow to be found for a couple snowmen, but tomorrow should take care of that. The road limits came off the roads a couple days ago and my driveway is dried up enough to get the boat out. The bears have been to our house 3 times this week looking for lunch(destroyed the bird feeders). I guess winter is over. Only have to wash/wax, final check over and I should have the boat in Lake Superior in 2wks. That beats last year.

75 Days until we go in. We had an ICE and SNOW storm the last two days. I was cleaning off my car today and remembered I had the canvas in the back of the car to go and have repaired, Boy what a bummer. We are expecting some of the coldest days of this winter in the next few days. I try to tell myself that things could be worse. It could be November!!!!

80 days for me... :smt089
I can get in the river around the end of March, but our marina doesn't float till mid April.

My wife thinks I have an illness...I was on the boat yesterday doing a little work to get ready for spring, which I consider to officially be St. Patricks Day. It was 28 degrees and snowing yesterday but under the shrink wrap it wasn't too bad and I had an electric heater running in the salon....not a bad place to ang out. I plan on escaping to the boat at least once a week until I cut the shrink wrap off in March. 10 weeks and counting :smt038

I see this has been resurected. Was hoping to go out today but it was raining, foggy and I wasn't feeling that great.

So, next weekend is calling for Sun and 45, but that was the forecast for today last week. Who knows but I'd like to go for a run.

I am looking at May but I just got my slip bill -- SH.............
1/2 due now :(

I was out last weekend and plan to go next weekend as well. Very sunny and 60 in Sacramento, CA.

Sorry

I still dont care how long until boating season :)

We had a little snowstorm this weekend, and the lakes are frozen. My weekend:

Saturday the wife myself and 3 kids went to the pond and skated for 3+ hours. The little boy's first time really on skates (double runners) and he had a BLAST! I cut down a hockey stick fo rhim and he loved it. The 2 daughters had hockey sticks too andmy wife, so we have a little family hockey game (me and the boy vs the ladies)

Got home, made some nice hot cocoa, made a big fire int he coal stove, played mouse trap and some other board games.

Went outside again, and did some sledding int he backyard. Isnt a huge hill, but the kids love it anyway. They also went on the swingset and we tried to build an igloo but the snow sucked for packing.

Came in, watched Wall-e all snuggle don the couch as family in front of the fire, went to bed

Sunday, got up, went outside all day. The neighbors came over, we took snowmobile rides, drove the quads around, did some more sledding, and did some pulling of the sleds with the quads. Kids had a blast.

Two ski trips planned for long weekends in VT at mt snow, plus some other day trips planned.

The boat can wait.
