How many days before your boating seasons

All is better in my world today. Found out MM splashed our boat yesterday(one week early...nice). She still smells like a new boat and everything seems to be working perfectly. Life is good again and I'm alot less angry now that I have my boat back.

0 days...we splashed on Saturday! Ill start a thread about it...

Getting closer, Ice out this weekend! But, still in some areas!
(You can see it off in the distance there.) Water's pretty high though, just about to flood stage! (over it, at this pier!)

Here's really great news!!!! we finally got to sea trial the 310 over the weekend, it was so wonderful and I fell in love so we signed the papers on it Sat!!!! it will be delivered to Table Rock on Wed!!! And then yesterday a couple looked at our 250 and we sold it today!!! It's a sign from the boating gods that it's time to be on the lake!!!

Good deal! COngrats on both accounts!

thank you so much!!!! I guess it's time to read that thread on the renaming ceremony.

My naming ceremony was going into the garage with a Guiness and cigarette and deciding to slap the name on. Took about 4 minutes.

Yeah, I've got 2 folks interested in my 185 this weekend! The warm weather's bringing out the boaters (or boater wannabees!)

Finally got her in today and commissioned all systems then went for a 20 mile ride in 45 degrees and light drizzle, through the narrows to home port. Good thing it wasn’t too sunny, I was afraid of blinding onlookers with the shine coming from all the Flagship wax on the blue hull.

I fired her up last weekend at home w/ the muffs. I'm surprised the 5 y/o battery took a charge and started it but it did. I splashed on Saturday with a shakedown cruise. Everything works great so far! Bring on the warm weather!

anywhere from 19 to 33. It all depends on weather! I have to be out of winter storage by 5/10. The earliest I can get into summer dockage is 4/26 (which I porbably won't be ready for).

For those of you (like me) who can't do boating all year, how many days before your boating season ?

This is the front of my home as of yesterday. It looks like I still have a long way to go before boating, probably 50-55 days, but once I start I will enjoy every day of it.

As of this morning. Not there yet but it is getting better. Probably 30-35 days to go.

I'm counting the days. As the guys in the yard say "siete días".

Yeehaw! 20 more sleeps to splash day! Snow's all melted and the ice is almost out of the bay, so it's just a matter of time now.:smt038
That had to be the longest S.O.B.-ing winter that I can remember since I was a kid! Thankfully it's behind us now!!

Bigal, where are you that you still have that much snow left??

About 350 miles North-east from your location......

But in fact I went to the marina yesterday and even if it is still all frozen, there is almost no snow left around the boats in dry(cold) storage. I should be OK to start working on the boat next weekend :).
