Our boat has been sitting at the marina for 2.5 weeks waiting for them to do a repair. There's 3/4 of a tank of gas in it. Anybody know how long it will be before that becomes a problem?

No problem for a few months imho. Then again, if the good gas has bad friends influencing it, it can turn bad before you realize it.

I use sta-bil myself as I never know when I'll get to use the boat next.

The last time I filled up the boat though (I normally do this the day before an outing) when I opened the gas cap Nat's (I guess they were nats) flew out.

What does that mean? I've never gotten below a half a tank mostly cause I'm scared I'll run out and be miles from the dock

And as far as repairs taking a long time, I'm going on week 3 for just the 20 hour first oil change and about 2 hours of gel coat work from a concreate dock I rubbed against.

Weird problem. We had AC installed a few weeks ago. They told me it would take 3 days it took two and a half weeks. Got the boat back. A day later the AC stopped working. Took it back and they said it needed some relay that had gone bad. Turns out the installer is freelance. He has the new part but is apparently very ill, dialysis every few days, etc. Anyway the marina has been unable to get in touch with him. Meanwhile my boat sat in saltwater for going on three weeks now. Yesterday they took it out of the water and cleaned it off but I'm not happy with the way things have gone. Also I noticed yesterday a scrape on the starboard side hull, probably from getting bumped by another boat while sitting in the water. I'll bring that up with the marina later today.

I'm still running on gas I put in the boat on October 15, 2006. It was very well stabilized when it went into storage and the boat runs just fine. I will fill up this week end and then go through multiple tanks over the next 4-8 weeks. Then in October the same ol' same ol'. We do not have e10 and have been doing this for years without problems. The fuel filters look great in the fall.
