I think my bathroom floor drain might be leaking a little bit. How do u get to it?? I have a 1986 268 weekender. It looks like i have to remove all the wood and vinyl around the bathroom door

On my 88 WE the shower floor drain was just a SS cover, the water dumps into the bilge and gravity feeds to the pump located below the steps from the cabin to the cockpit. There was no piping.

I have bought and am going to install a tub drain with a piece of heavy hose and some caulk to get the water where it needs to be .I then have to epoxy that little partition with the big hole in it.

I have what looks like a hand hole access between the door and the rear berth which would be your bulkhead, do you have the same thing? I haven't opened it to look in but maybe that is a place to start. I have a hose going to the pump so I would think there has to be a way to get to it.

I have the same access panel, It comes off with a couple of screws. The shower drain is attached to a hose that drains into the bilge in the aft cabin and turns on from the switch marked step down pump, on the dash, or automatically from the float switch.

I don't have a access panel like that. I found the hose that drains into my midberth

If you look at the bottom behind the door you can see where the access panel is you could drill a small hole and see if you can see the hose then cut a access panel in.
