How to wax the “brow” of a Sedan Bridge...that was my question? How do others get to areas they cannot reach to compound/wax? I should have asked this question earlier, but here is what I did.

Took my Shurhold extendable pole and taped my rotary and then my orbital to it. Fortunately, there was really no oxidation, so I hit it quickly with a wool pad and some Finesse-it 2 followed with a soft foam pad and some Meguire’s Flagship wax. The Shurhold red buffing bonnet makes removal of the wax very easy.

Looks good! It’s a little bit of a pita, but I have a rubber backed mat that I put up on the brow and climb up the side using the hand holds as steps. Kneel on the mat and do the work. I’m not that big at 5-10 185, probably not for everybody. That’s why my topsides get 4 coats of wax per year (when she’s in the water for more than a year straight) and the brow only gets 2. Lol

Big difference...I am 6’4”-240...plus I am not as limber as I used to be.....

Looks good, might add a life jacket id doing over water. Be my luck it would flip off in the drink...

MM

Yeah, if you go in the drink along with your 120V polisher, the life jacket will make it easy for the EMT’s to find your body...

I tried suction cups etc now I just scoot up there barefoot and hold onto the windshield supports and work with one hand.
Also tie my extension cord to the rail so if the buffer goes over it rips the plug out.
