Our queen bed is terrible and we need to replace it. The end corners are rounded so I don't think I can go to a regular mattress store. Does Searay or some boat place sell really good mattresses? What does everyone do when they want to replace their mattress? I have metal rods in my back and my husband and I have both had several back surgeries. We can't stay on the boat without changing this mattress, would appreciate any help you can give!

I am not sure where you are located but these guys made me a mattress topper for my 340da and it was great. They will custom make a real mattress for the bait as well. There are other marine mattress companies well.

We went with a 11” foam mattress. Most people cut them to fit with an electric knife, and that worked for us.

You can also purchase a memory foam mattress and cut it to shape with an electric carving knife.

There were a couple of threads about this two years ago, we did the same thing and love it!

We bought a 4” topper and cut to fit with an electric knife. You can google yacht mattress or boat bedding and there are a lot of choices...

Be prepared to write a 2k check for a custom boat mattress. Otherwise order a memory foam mattress, bring it to the boat yourself and cut it to fit as others here have mentioned.

If you have access to a foam fabricator that sells to the public we have them in Michigan.
We went there and figured out the firmness we wanted and we ended up putting a memory foam on top 6”/2”. Cut it to size and have been very happy with

We had a custom mattress in our 300DA that was made from these guys.
They may already have templates for a 390.

    I used Very good service
and nice product. I tried the memory foam add on thing and it didn't work for me. The new mattress is latex medium firm and is probably the most beneficial upgrade I have done. As mentioned above it is pricey though.

Portland Boat Mattress is the oem mattress maker for a couple of manufacturers. They also make custom sizes. I’ve talked to them and they are very nice.
