How do I remove the fabric covered panels in the v-berth?

We would like to re-cover the fabric panels above the front port hole windows in the v-berth of our 2001 310 Sundancer. We can't quite figure out how they are attached. We thought we could just pull them straight out, but they aren't detaching very easily and we don't want to damage them. Does anyone know how to remove them?

If no one responds to your posting, then call the Sea Ray 800 number and they can get you the answer you are looking for.

Searay likes to hide screws in the crease/seem of these type of panels. If you have that, try looking deep in the crease for some screw heads. If not, give SR a call. They can tell you.

if you can post pictures of panels in question
i belive that on that boat were 3 screws run through fabric and hiden in creases
this is one of reasons why sea ray using fabrics with "loose" tread - to let screw heads go trough

Because if you look at them from the side, they look like a Christmas tree

I had one of the panels fall out once, shortly after purchasing the boat new in 2002. It is also a 310 SunDancer. They have a wooden frame around them and wood screws to hold them together. Simply pull the fabric back and run a wood screw into the backing frame against the bulkhead. The rolled fabric edge will cover the screws. Only had to fix it once and that was over five years ago. My two cents!
