I need to replace the mirror on my 270 Sundancer. I have no idea how to get any of the trim off or how to get the old cracked mirror off.

Anyone done this? There is a 2 in panel across the top but I can't see how to remove it. The sides and bottom are also tucked behind the cushions and side panels.

Here is a pic from the web of what the front of the cabin looks like.

have you looked in the anchor locker to see if there are mounting bolts/nuts that hold the mirror on the bulkhead wall?

It's been a while, but I believe...

-- First take the side cushions off (that hide the hull/deck joint). Look between the pleats for the screws - likely only 3 or 4 screws per piece.
-- To get the mirror assembly out, gently pull the vinyl back from the corners and parts of the edges to expose screws (you can usually feel the screw heads through the vinyl). Most of the way around the mirror "board", the vinyl is stapled on the back side. But where the screws are, the vinyl is just tucked in.
-- If it doesn't want to come out after that, there may still be a few screws along the bottom edge, and you may not be able to get to them w/o removing the backrest cushion. It comes out in the same way the side cushions do - but be careful as it is all one piece so you don't want to manhandle it and break it. Not hard, though.

You might want to first remove the speakers. The covers are only in place by friction.
