Hot Spots in the Ft. Myers area and the Keys

It's annual fishing trip time for the boys. If anybody has any "can't miss" spots they'd like to pass along, it'd be appreciated. My first time in either area. Leaving for FM this friday then on to the Keys monday-wednesday then back to FM area until Saturday.

Our days will be consumed fishing offshore but there will be plenty of time to kill in the late afternoons and evenings. we'd prefer to stay out of trouble if at all possible but boys will be boys.

Someone on the site had mentioned something called fantasy fest in the Keys? pardon my politically in-correctness but I hope this isn't a gay thing...not that there is anything wrong with that if thats your thing.

thanks for the tips. jeeez looeeze...this looks pretty over-the-top. but, looks like we'll be back to FM before fantasy fest kicks into full swing. that ought to save some embarrassment because the way we roll, I'm not sure those 20 and 30-somethings could keep up with us. heck, i bet we'll still be up at 9 o'clock darn near every night.
