Lots of engines
1993 freshwater cooled in freshwater only(Lake Michigan). Engines are out. All the hoses seem to be a very good shape. Ends are solid nothing seems gummy or soft. I am trying not to just change out items. Will do the hard to change later hoses now.
How long do you see these hoses last?

I've had similar vintage boats that I never changed them 25 years old. IMHO really depends on how difficult they are to get to when engines are back in .

Are they original hoses from 1993? Or could they have already been changed sometime over the years? I would just check them out REAL well and if there's ANY iffiness to their integrity go ahead and change them. But, if they're good, they're good.

They are old and I can assume to be original items. With them not being under pressure and no uv light they should last.

FYI we have a ‘91 with 7.4 closed cooling. I’m sure all hoses were original. Replaced ALL hoses entire systems both engines 3 years ago. Some formed ones were no longer available but I was able to find what I think were last ones in the U.S. thanks to referral by Frank W.’s favorite parts guy! If you are planning to keep boat, something to think about. They do wear out.
