Not getting more than a "mouse" sounding peep out of my factory installed horn. Before I start tinkering, thought I'd ask if anyone can adivse what to expect. I'm sure there are some contacts to inspect, but will I need to re-bed or is there a gasket under the chrome?

Had the same problem with mine on my 33 Sundancer. I had to route new marine #12 wire to the horns. The factory wiring (#16 gauge) worked until the horns got older. They draw a lot of current which #12 can carry. To test, I would run a temporary pair of #12 on the surface first before you buy new horns. Good luck. Y-KNOT

Most of the horn failures are from the gasket seal cracking and water intrudes inside and ruins them. Unscrew the two screws. The chrome plate will come off and pull the unit out. It should be a plug and play. Hint - tie something around the wires so they do not fall in the hole. The new horn will come with a new seal that sticks on the back of the new one when you remount.
