Horn only works sometimes - any ideas what to check?

I have twin trumpet horns on my 1999 340 Sundancer. I am getting frustrated and concerned that my horns only work sometimes. I can press the horn button 5 times and the sixth the horns work. Then they won't work again. Is there a connection that makes is more corrosion resistant?

Sounds like a dirty or weak connection somewhere.
I've found that 99% of the time a bad connection is repsonsible for electrical issues that arise on my boat.
My 12 volt test light is invaluable.
Try taking apart, cleaning, and re-connecting all of the connections in the curcuit including the horn breaker, momentary switch, and then finally at the horn itself if the switch and breaker connections don't prove to be the problem.
