Sure. I used it on my 25 cruiser and had it on the back.

You are a lucky guy, you risked your families life 25 times and won.

For anyone looking at the ad that does not know, using a portable generator on a boat is a huge safety risk and should not be done.

would you ship to NH?

Hey nice header pipe on that generator..(ha,ha).
Seriously those are a hot item on Craig's list...I sold one in ten minutes to the first person that showed up. He didn't even want to hear it run. I wished I kept it but, just never used it.

Good luck,

Those are great little generators and you will sell it...even if you have to resort to Ebay.

We use them at work you can piggy back two together and make it a 4000. Awesome generator. Just saying

I hear people say that all the time but have yet to hear of any real life examples. I have been to numerous rendezvous with boats all rafted together many with portables strapped to the swim platform. I am not trying to be combative on the issue but would like to know why it's so taboo if everyone does it and no one even knows of an accident as a result of using one.

To add value to the thread anyone looking for an EU2000 the asking price is a steal. Ran a Honda dealership for many years and we would pull $900 all day long for a used one. Best little generators on the market.

I have...but still can't find an example of issue. There are plenty of people that claim it is unsafe but I have not read that anyone lost a boat or a person or got CO poisoning from using one. Feel free to point me to a thread that contains something that supports that it is I fact dangerous because all I am seeing is opinions without factual examples or data.

Just an example. Our boats have CO detectors hard wired in for a reason.
