Home pics... anyone want to share?

Yes.....I have no problem turning my boat at my bulkhead.......our canal is a dead end canal....but is almost 70' wide.

Cool, pictures can be very deceiving, it did not look that wide.
Neat looking place.

Once I spin.....it is a bit tight with a 26' Sea Ray on my bow.....and a 46' Sea Ray on my stern......... sometimes I wish for a thruster :) :)

I would say tight:wow:, How wide is your lot? 50+- feet?? Looks like your boat in that picture is taking up the whole width.

Chuck....Thanks.....its a fun place to live...we like it.

Yes ....your correct.....only 50' wide each....a local joke is....if you want to buy a boat over 50' you need to buy the neighbors house too..... and tear it down !!

You've got 50 acres? I'm jealous. We got tired of the subdivison thing last year & moved to the country on 2.5 acres. After living in a subdivison the 2.5 seemed like 50 to us

Here is our current home...

Gee whiz...that is like parallel parking a boat......that would make me really nervous.....how to do you do that? That looks really tight.

Finally, after 3 years of dinkering around in my basement I got the drywall up!!!! I started with 1200 sf basement with 9'8" ceilings completely unfinished. getting close to completing a family room, weight room, bar, and full bath with a URINAL:thumbsup: Got 98 sheets of drywall hung and now we're moving.

Urinal . Is that b/c the main waste line exiting the house is up high or is it b/c it's just cool to have a urinal:thumbsup:

What about the women-folk?. Where are they "going." And what if you have to drop a deuce? (upstairs bathroom is not an acceptable answer)

Wow, just spent a few seconds on the HD website. Urinals aren't that expensive. Range of prices pretty consistent with toilets. Will you be installing a bidet also??

Very nice. Did you run Cat5 cable to your entertainment center? When I did my basement a few years ago I ran cable, electric and speaker wires but neglected to run CAT5. I didn’t think I would need it for a basement rec room, I was wrong.

I also ran high hats everywhere and put everything on a dimmer. However, back then you couldn’t buy high efficient fluorescent dimmable lights, now you can. You might want to check them out.

Ah, we are full time live aboard's but don't own the slip. I think I'll pass on the trade... not sure I could get use to dry land. :) You've got a nice little slice of heaven there but if you really want to live aboard, don't wait... YOLO = You Only Live Once

YES....I like that ..... You Only Live Once........very good !!

Right now....we're still in our working years......but soon to retire !

Hey you know what they say, it is all relative:lol:
Kind of like the people that live in the mountains head to the beach for vacation and the beach people head to the mountains.
