Holding Tank

Hi All, Thanks for the commentary, very funny. Blueone mentioned a manual pump and it looks to me like there's one on top of the holding tank on my boat. Im attaching some pictures. If this is a manual poop pump out is it as simple as sticking the handle in the pump and start pumping? Adding a discharge line too of course. Not sure if there are any other valves that need to be opened. Any advise is appreciated by this novice new boater!

Can’t answer the question but will say that is one of the cleaner bilges I have seen. Nice!

I have never seen such, but that's sure what it looks to be. Lucky you! And, like @sbw1 noted, that's one clean bilge.

The Holding tank pump located on top worked like a charm! The only issue is my wife was not thrilled that I brought the contents into the house and dumped the proceeds down our toilet!!!!!! Pretty strong smell

Thanks for the information

There your mistake. Never take that sht home. Marina bathroom, gas station bathroom, McDonald’s bathroom, barren field. On the other hand, if you’re a beer drinking, egg eating, specimen of a man. The wife should already appreciate your fragrance.
Still trying to get my bilge that clean.

Jam man, all fun aside. Yes use the macerator to empty the tank. Thats why you have it. You dont specify your boat or year. Most dump thru a thru-hull fitting on the bottom. So if you run it on a trailer in your driveway, the wife may not be happy about you pumping 20 gallons of liquified poo on the driveway.
