New member and aspiring Sea Ray owner here! I currently have a 2003 Carver 360 Sport Sedan and am looking to move up to a Sea Ray 42-44 Sedan Bridge. My wife and I boat on the upper Chesapeake Bay with our 8 year old son and 6 year old daughter. I am a lifetime, third-generation boater and have owned all manner of boats from power to sail and back to power again.

In the brief time I've been here I can see already that this is a great resource. Thanks to the management team for putting together a great site!

The Carver 360 has worked out very well for us. It's very comfortable and has a really nice layout. And it is relatively fast (24kt cruise) with the Merc 8.1s. On the downside, it's not the greatest at handling more than a 2' chop (it's sturdy enough, it's just a bumpy ride due to the flat-ish bottom), it can get blown around by the wind when docking, and it is kind of goofy looking. Overall though, I'm very pleased with the boat and may just keep it if we can't find a good enough deal on the 44.
