Hinge help

I'm looking to replace the broken piano hinge on the stern seat of our 05 - 280. The seas ray parts list doesn't show it - also contacted my sea ray dealer and they can't find it either. It is unique in that it has a 90* bend (see photo). Any help would be appreciated. Sorry for the sideways photo can't figure out how to turn it on this forum.

My "guess" is that it's something that Sea Ray produced in house - meaning they took a normal piano hinge and bent it. You can do the same thing - find a hinge of the appropriate length and thickness and then take it to a machine shop or maybe even a local business that does aluminum siding or gutters as they may have a brake and can quickly bend it for you. I think you can even rent brakes. Don't worry if you buy a hinge that is longer (or the hinges are wider) as you can cut it.

Is it actually broken, or can you just bend it back "close enough". For this application, it doesn't need to be dead nuts on.

I am not sure if it the same hinge but it looks like Great Lakes Skipper has something really close to what you show.

You'd be able to find something at a place like McMaster-Carr under piano hinges.

Ran across them before ( I got a custom cabinet shop ) But haven't seen one in a while. There's a company called Baer Supply that sells cabinet hardware but they got bought out by a german company and there's another name in front of baer but if you goggle baer supply you'll find it. Then look for piano hinges or offset piano hinges. another company is C H Briggs. I don't have web address for you as I'm at home an all that is at work on that computer.

An FYI for those that need this hinge (stern seat on a 280). I bought an exact duplicate from Great Lakes Skipper. Problem solved and for under $10. Don't think I ever bought anything for the boat that cheap.
