Both times my wife was home so they put the box in the garage. The small one was in a box the bigger was on a pallet. Call them and work out the details… easy to deal with
I stand corrected….I went back thru my notes and my last 9.9hp I bought from https://www.powerequipmentdirect.com/outdoor/outboard-motors.html Outboardsonline didn’t have stock… both companies were good here is a pic of the 9.9 on a pallet that you can’t see.
ok thank you. Just wasn't sure how it works (got lots of disclaimers from the company on restocking, etc).
FWIW I've had great luck buying from these folks online as well. They have a physical shop in California but they will ship just about anywhere. https://www.boatspecialists.com/
Grabbed the last Highfield 310CL in arctic gray from A&S boats in Connecticut. I’ll be headed to get it in the next month or so, they said they’ll hold it for us as long as we need. Really nice group of people looking forward to next year with this new boat. Hurley h2o is also on the way. I’m going to stick with our old 9.9 at least for the beginning of the season but plan on going to a 20hp 4 stroke, probably a tohatsu
I looked at the Tohatsu, but ultimately went with the 20 Suzuki for a number of reasons but the ability to get a white engine and a fantastic dealer near by made the choice easier. Who thought that making motors black was a good idea? Water spots drive me crazy. I have been super happy with the Zuk!
A couple questions on the Highfield Sport 360 is the 20Hp motor plenty enough? And how many of you buy them new? And do you really need a trailer? Looking around if I find a used center console for sale I feel it is over priced for the condition it is in plus I rarely find any aluminum ones for sale and I really want to go with the aluminum RIB to keep weight down.
20hp seems a bit light for a 360? I've got a 25hp on my 325. I wouldn't want less than that. I sold my trailer a week after buying my dinghy. I have zero use for a dinghy trailer...
Anyone go for the Hurley tabs for the Highfield? I had the lifters on my soft bottom and it ran a lot better than without. I like the design for the Highfield I might be tempted to add the transom lights too… https://hurleymarine.com/shop/highfield-trim-tabs/highfield-trim-tabs/
New 2022 Suzuki 15hp EFI ordered. Yep, got the white one. Not sure why every other outboard has black cover --- never have figured that out but I do know with the sun beating on that black, the covers sure are burning hot
