High water pressure

I am getting a high (40.4psi) water pressure reading on the port engine (8.1L V drive) on the Vesselview display. Get same reading even when engine is not running. I suspect the sensor is reading an open circuit and/or bad connector connection. Could someone provide sensor location and any info. Can the sensor be checked with an ohm meter (resistance reading)?
