I have a 1995 290 Sundancer. My insurance company is requiring me to install a high water alarm and I noticed that in the specifications for my boat there is one installed by the factory. Does anyone know where it would be located?

It's a second bilge pump, mounted slightly higher than the main bilge pump (which is right on the bilge floor). Confirm it works by manually lifting the float switch.

Some of the boats didn't have an alarm indicator panel at the helm, but there may very well still be an alarm that will sound.

Mine has an alarm and the light on the bilge pump switch lights up as well. Although that light is pretty dim.

on my 95 290 you just get a audio alarm, nothing on the dash. Put the plug in and fill the bilge with water when on trailer, thats how I test mine every year
