http://www.naalive.com/clients/barnone/cataloglistingitem.aspx?lotid=1637704

Thier advertisment states it as an 1987. i now know it is in fact a 1978. Cause it is in my front yard now... hehe. I bidded on this from online. I took thier word that the year was correct.
But im tring to do some reserch online and can get nowhere with this HID#....
Does it look right to you guys? Or is thier something missing?
Any help is great, Thanks to all

go to the sea ray archives and see if you can match the boat up.

here is 1987

Sure does look like the 1978 SRV240 SedanBridge found on this page

easier to see on page 8 of of this pdf file

Okay here is a picture of the 1978 SedanBridge

That is definitely a '78. My parents owned a '77 just like it (but with a 250 MerCruiser) when I was growing up and I looked for a decent and reasonably priced one for years before I finally settled for what I have now. Congrats on a beautiful and unique Sea Ray.

Can I ask what you paid for it?

Wish2fish,
Thanks for all your help and trying to figer out my delima here. Iam sure that this boat is a 1978 because of the (hid#). Ive been trying to use the HID# on Sea Ray website but it keeps telling me the number is invalid.

Sorrento,
I paid $2500.00 for it . I dont think it was a bad deal at that price.

Thomas,
I dont have the actual pink in hand, as the auction company is suppose t send it to me. But on the bill of sell the numbers match BUT the year they wrote down on it says 1987.

So im thinking thier is more going on with this boat then meets the eye. :smt119

Thanks again you guys......

I guess I don't understand about the title and why you don't have it. Unless it was a salvage title.
