Hi, just bought our Sea Ray 270 DA yesterday. Cruising area is Hampshire in the UK in the Solent, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton areas. So pleased with the build quality of the boat which looks fantastic for a 92 model.

How big do the waves get and what sort of wind do you see?
Tell us about moorage rates, fuel costs and part prices.
Can you leave your boat in the water all year?
You probably have outdrives read this site well to see what you need to do them to keep them in good working order.
We had twin 3.8 V six stern drives on our first boat. I assume you got the 4.2 V six. The 3.8 were good enough we ran them at 3,800 RPM and burnt 1 liter a minute and went 22 o 24 knots.

The picture in you first post looks like ryde harbour if i am not mistaken . I normally visit a few times a year the kids love the fun fair and the sandy beach.

Very Nice, Welcome. I will be going to Simonstone in January. Simonstone is about 45 minutes north of Manchester.
