Just wanted to say Hi.

Finally brought home our ‘07 34DA and could not be more pleased. Inaugural trip was 3 days from the west coast of Florida to the east down from the bay, ICW, Lake “O” and the St. lucie.
Already read multiple threads which have answered many of my questions and much appreciated to those who take the time to answer all the general questions.

This was my first trip through the locks so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Lots of friends who had done it or wanted to but in the end stay in the channel and take your time.

Stayed in Yacth basin in Fort Meyers and Roland Martin in Clewiston. As usual, boat people are the best. Made lots of new friends, drank good beer and ate plenty of marina food. My buddy, who lives in Kentucky, made the trip with crawled back to the bot around 3 after making friends on another couples boat. So funny. He’s never slept on a boat let alone a marina.

Good times.

As most of you can probably attest to the most significant change for me is learning all the quirks of the boat. You spend so many years with one boat you pick up on all the little in’s and out’s. New boat, new learning curve.
That and wanting to fix every little defect on a 12 year old boat.

I live in palm city. keep my sea ray at riverwatch. my cell is 772-631-5005. mike
