Good Morning All,
I've been working on some updates in the V-berth of my 76 SRV300 Sedan bridge. In the V-berth the P/O had on little light and had installed a oscillating fan to help circulate the A/C. The last time I overnighted both the fan and the light worked fine. I got a new fan when Boaters World went under, and finally got a chance to install it. When I went to the V-berth to install it, neither the fan or the light worked. Put a meter on it and got zilch. The wire (looks like factory install small guage black and white) goes into the wall and disappears. I looked in behind the galley drawers etc to see how the wires were routed, and could not find them. I can only assume they ran this particular wire over the ceiling panels and across the lower station fuse/swich panel. I cannot for the life of me figure out where it terminates. There is a small fuse block on the starboard side that has four or five fuses, and a blank (accessory) fuse. From any of your experiences would this be where that light/fan might terminate? I have used to accessory fuse to run power for some nice LED lights in the cockpit, and checked all the other fuses for continuity......
I'm at a loss, and sure don't want to pull the ceiling panels down at this time just to check on This. Eventually want to install two of the LED fixtures in the V-berth, and get the fan working...
Thanks in advance...
John
