So the dealer does a poor job winterizing the galley sink and now it's dripping below like you know what! Easy fix right? - Just tighten the hose clamp and move on. Well, it turns out the plastic elbow the hose is clamped to is cracked. I look up the part in my manual and on line and discover that the spec for the boat is totally different than what's actually in the boat! SeaRay is specifying a true pvc elbow solution that leads to a drain hose. I guarantee if you're in a 420 / 44 Dancer, what is under your galley sink is what's pictured below and it does NOT match what is in your manual!

I go to two SeaRay dealers who can't find anything that resembles the broken piece I have. They are referring to the manual! I e-mail photos and they are passed on to Knoxville and we're still awaiting a response. :smt021 First weekend out, we wash dishes in the head. :smt013

Long story short, I find the piece at an RV Parts store on line. Here's a link ---- https://www.rvpartsoutlet.com/newst...645&refid=67852118-F837-4EE5-9452EACBBD6C636A

Additional problem with this configuration - the elbow end is threaded and SeaRay has clamped a hose over the threads, which of course, won't work - water will find it's way! I'll have to configure a "screw on" piece of some sort and then clamp two hoses together to assure no future leaks.

Way to go SeaRay :smt038
