If you expect any help with this or any future problems, you will have to take time to set up your signature so that we know what your boat is all about.

Yea, stop washing your boat. Need more info before anybody can help.

Have you tried opening the drain in the locker? Obviously it's not going to drain if it's plugged.

Since most of the sport boats have drains that run to the lockers and/or bilge area have you thought about keeping a small wet vac aboard?

Oh, wait a minute... Wassim - are you confusing the garboard drain plug with the ski locker drain plug?

Thanks Lazy Daze, this must be it :smt038. I should be looking for a drain in the ski locker . I am going boating tomorrow , i'll give it a try . I suppose i'll have to check if it drains without having to take the boat out of the water and tilt it up . Will let you know how i fare .If not i'll have to take Chuck1's advice .

Chuck ,your boat looks like a 240 sundeck , i just replaced it with the 270 slx , in retrospect bang for the buck sundeck rules .

Yep, it's a 240SD. I have to agree with you about the SDs. I looked at the 290SD hard, but I think we are going to go with a 290SS for our next boat.

i tilted the boat , opened the ski locker drain plug , opened the garboard drain and for extra measure turned the bilge pump on ...nothing ..nada . The water would just not flush out . Daaaarn :smt013

OK, you're going have to be a little more specific. Honestly, I really don't understand what's going on. You originally said you keep the boat in the water - but now you said you pulled the garboard plug?

Assuming you have it on a trailer... you are saying that your ski locker plug is out, but water is not draining from there? You are also saying that your garboard plug is out, but water is not draining from there, as well?

Can you visually see a drain hole at the rear of the locker? Is it plugged/clogged? Push a coat hanger (or similar) through it towards the bilge.

I took the boat out of the water today to try and get the water our but usually i keep it in the water .
The drain plug in the ski locker is around 5" diameter . It opens into a small chamber that ís inaccessible and is already quite full of water itself . when i tilted the boat the water wouldn't seep into the small chamber as it is already full there .
When i opened the garboard plug some water came out but it didn't affect the water level in the ski locker or the small chamber behind it .
I want to thank you for the time you are taking to assist me in this

Do you have a switch on your dash that may control a bilge pump - one that is located in this cavity? I don't have a 270SLX laying around, so I'm just guessing.
