I am trying to locate a broken part. It is the small plastic elbow that is the shower wand hanger. I know this part was used on several model years (I am a 1998 450 DA), but Sea Ray has told my local dealer that it is discontinued......

I have contacted Grohe, who said it is not a Grohe part. They sent me to Hansgrohe, who said it is not their part. Does anyone have any idea where I could find one? Maybe just the clear plastic ring that is broken? I would greatly appreciate the help!

Not sureIf I'm understanding your problem - in the photo, the threaded part is where the hose screws in, right? And the clear plastic part is where the sprayer would hang - but that's broken, right?

You can replace the entire handheld shower sprayer and you'll get a new hanger with it. It looks like you'd unscrew the white plastic elbow from the metal ring, and screw in a new hanger. You can buy one in Home Depot but everyone else here will tell you to spent 10x more and buy one from Marine Max or West Marine.

You are correct, the hose does screw onto the male thread and it is the clear plastic ring that is broken. I have been to HD and Lowe's and West Marine, and was trying to avoid replacing the existing slide bar and hanger......

So the hose screws into the thread shown and the sprayer fits into a hanger that is on a slide bar somewhere up around your head? Sorry, I'm trying to visualize this.

Yes the slide bar sits flush on the wall (approx 24" long) and it has a clear plastic slide that will travel the length of the bar. That clear plastic slide has a rod on it and the clear ring (the broken part) fits over it to hold it in position. The chrome ring is where the actual wand connects. The elbow is the "hanger". I hope that makes sense.

I can post more pics of the part if that helps.....

I think I have something similar - In the shower stall there's a stainless bar that hangs vertically, about 3' long. Down by my ankles is a connector for the hose, which connects to the shower sprayer. The sprayer slides into a slot on a contraption that attaches to the bar. The contraption, along with the sprayer when it's clipped in, can slide up and down the bar to any height you want. You can also pull the sprayer off the contraption if so desired. You're saying that the slot on your contraption is broken so you can't hang the sprayer, you can only use it in "Hand-held" mode (?)

If you post more pix, take a long shot of the entire shower set up.

My daughter broke both of mine. Tried every where. No luck. I didnot try FP now that i think about it. Used clear plastic ties and it slides down on bar holder. Doesnt look good but works. If you find some please post. Thanks, JC

I will post what I find! Thanks for the zip tie idea, that would work!
