Help with removing Foward rails! Can it be done ???

Im considering the addition of a forward sun pad to our 1989 380 Aft Cabin. The original placement of hand rails are center line on the front deck so they can't be used for hand hold when going to the front of the boat. They are excellent tripping hazards when crossing the bow in a hurry and provide an ideal place to splice your pinky toe from the rest of your foot when your washing the bow top side. I have been unable to figure out how to remove them and re-install farther apart so I can install a sun pad . Has anyone been brave enough to attempt this?

I have the same boat. I have assumed that they are bolted through the deck. Based on that in my opinion you would need to remove the head liner and unblot them. Best to email SeaRay and ask them. I have found them helpful with items I do not know about. If youever figure it out what to do please post.
