Hi there Tom -

I have a 1995 250 Sundancer with what appear to be Bennett trim tabs from the factory. The system definitely has a Bennett HPU. Here are pictures of the rocker switch.

First, I am in dry storage and would like to add the Auto Tab Retractor. Is that possible with this switch?

Second, this switch is aesthetically in rough shape although it works fine. The switch base is physically 3" high and 4" wide. Is this/was this a Bennett rocker switch? Is there a replacement for it in the same form factor?

Thanks!

Phloria,

As you may have suspected, that's not a Bennett Switch. Looking at the picture it is correctly wired. An Auto Tab Retractor can easily be added to it by slicing into the four color wire harness that runs from it to the Hydraulic Power Unit (pump).

If it does fail in the future it can be replaced with a new Bennett switch, but you will have to make a trim piece to fit it in the existing hole.

I hope this is helpful.
