Engine problems. When I turn on the ignition, The fuel pump kicks in, but it continually runs, and you hear other popping sounds that seem to be coming from IAC, near the IAC valve or the throttle body. The engine will not turn over with out giving throttle. Once running, it runs fine (no spittering) as long as I have throttle. But when I bring it back to idle, she stalls. Is this a fuel pump, a fuel filter, or some other issue? Note: I thought it may be the IAC valve causing the engine to not start, but I switched the IACs from port to starboard and the problem did not follow the IAC to the other engine. Also, the engine alarm goes off, but I don't know how to decipher the codes. Here’s a vide that might help you see what I’m dealing with

Can you help save my holiday weekend?

Sorry to hear of your issues. Not sure what would cause this, but it doesn't seem like IAC issues. My engines are different, but have two pumps (one high pressure and one high flow). All I can think is that one of your two pumps has failed. Take a look at your good engine and see if you can find two pumps that buzz with the ignition on. Feel them vibrate to get an idea of what to expect and then compare to the bad engine. That's all I can think of.

That’s as good of a starting point as any, thanks! I think my main fuel pump is in the “cool fuel” system so not sure how to access that directly. There’s a boost pump that may or may not be on my engines, too. Thought that was more for avoiding vapor lock than anything else.
