Help can’t choose 300da vs 310da

I did place a deposit on the 02 310. I like the size and v drives over the 300. I like that it has the cherry cabinets. I was also looking at a 340, but was a little concerned with the 7.4's and old log type exhaust. Design is a little dated, but only sea ray people see the difference. Computer says only 64hrs on horizons since installed in 09. Thanks for all your help. Now thinking electronics and stereo.

Good choice IMHO. I really like this boat. The only bummer is the lack of refrigerator in the cockpit. We had a 280 Sundancer for 15 years and went without. Can’t wait to see pictures.

I've looked at both and they're two very different boats. My call is the 310 for all the above reasons. I know an owner with the 310 Vee drive boat who upgraded to four blade props and it improved speed and economy significantly. Good luck either way they're both great boats!
Could you please ask the 310SD (V-Drives) owner and post some more details about the four blade props upgrade? (prop size, performance comparison, consumption difference, etc). Thanks

...I liked the 290 (which became the 300)...I also spent my life on that boat setting up the v-birth and taking it down!

One small clarification...I am not familiar with the 290 you had but I believe the '03 300DA is the same model as the '06 I had, and it had a fixed, diagonal V-berth, not one that could be made into a table. The ability to make a filler that converted this berth into a huge, almost King-sized bed that you could sleep side-by-side on was one of the reasons we bought this boat (that and because we couldn't find a reasonably-priced '03.5+ 340DA that was in the condition we wanted). The same vintage 320DA V-berth was too small for me at 6' 3".
