you could make nice plate covering existing hole using 1/2" black starboard and make opening in that plate for new stove.
that plate could have size 10 3/4 + 2 1/2 X 11 + 2 1/2 or (or maybe +3)
that would give you uniform trim around new stove and cover existing hole.
you could bevel plate edge with 1/4 round router bit.
