I went to the boat to run the engines and generator and while running the generator I noticed the anti-siphon break was spouting water into the bilge. There's a clear, 1/4" hose attached to the break and the water was flowing through it in a steady stream. It was a good stream. The hose is just held there with tie wraps, but it's not connected to anything.

Is this normal? I mean, I'm sure it's not normal. I guess the real question is should I worry about this or is there a quick fix?

Larry,
Has the hose burst, or is it loose? Hard to understand the leak from your description..in any event, seems like you ought to be able to close your generator sea cock and stop the flow?

It only flows if the generator is running. The hose doesn't look burst or broken. It's just attached to an attachment nub on the anti-siphon break (at the very top of the loop) and then tie wrapped to some other hoses, but not attached to anything on the other end. Then when the generator is running, the water starts to flow through that small hose into the bilge.

The siphon break is stuck open so its just pumping water into the bilge. Take the anti siphon valve off where you can see it and take it apart. Then disassemble it and clean it and that should solve the problem. If it doesn't, replace it.

Frank, it turns out you were right. The part will just be replaced under warranty. It allowed me to sleep last night knowing my boat wasn't going to sink. Thanks.

Skip, thank you too.

Oh, the clear tube is so that if the valve does get stuck open, the water isn't splashing all over the generator... it just splashes over everything else
