New owner of a 2008 260DA 6.2. I have read all the feedback on trimming the outdrive asnd have taken it out and all is working well. One thing that appears to be an issue is, I cannot trim the outdrive above 2. Upon reading this forum it seams as though more trim would help but mine will not go higher. I looked at the outdrive while stopped and 2 seams pretty low. How far should the outdrive really go up? Halfway? Mine @ 2 is not even close to halfway up. Any feedback would be great.

Not sure if there is a major difference in the trim settings on my 5.0 with bravo III's but mine register up to a maximum of 5.

Sounds like you have may have an issue with your drive trim limit switch
