Helm seat replacement

Looking for ideas on a new helm seat for a 390 express, unfortunately the wooden bases have drooped and keep to be replaced. Figured this would be a good chance to see what other people would do or not do.

Had the factory helm seat re-covered on my 450 recovered just last month

Added additional foam, extended the top and armrests

That said, i'm following Tom Mott down the STIDD rabbithole.

My newly redone seat, factory base and footrest are now available in SW Florida, at a ridiculous low price, but I will not ship
