hello everyone, I'm new here and new to the boating world. I boat a 76 srv220 last fall and will begin rebuilding it this summer. motor needs rebuilt, interior and replacing floor. doing all myself with help from co-owner/neighbor. wish us luck.

no pics yet. I'll take some this summer when we start. we have our work cut out for us, but you can't learn unless you try. the only thing i'm worried about is that he didn't give us the original outdrive, he said the one he gave us will work though. it's a alpha one but cant find any numbers, even looked under stickers. i'm sure i'll be leaning on some of you guys for help, so thanks in advance.

Good idea to double check your leg. Make sure its geared right and strong enough.
