Hi. My name is Scott and I am a new member to CSR. I recently had high speed internet installed which is why i found you. So even though my computer is fast it doesn't meen I am. I just signed papers on Friday for my new to me boat, a 2000 240 da. I can't wait to get it home. It is sitting at the dealer with 2 feet of fresh snow. 6-8 more inches coming on Wed. night. Figures , we just got out of the 30 below windchills 2 weeks ago. Once I figure out how, i will get a picture(without snow) posted. Great to be here. My last boat was a 88 Regal 180 br. That was 3.5 yrs ago. Sold it to buy a pontoon and instead bought a house. Looking forward to getting back into it. I guess my camper will sit this summer.

Hey Scott, welcome to the club.

Looking forward to seeing pics of your new boat. Be prepared for Stihlbolts to ask you lots of questions about your "almost" pontoon boat... he has a thing for them.

Welcome to CSR Scott, congratulations on the new purchase. You will find alot of great people here that love talking boats. Again welcome to the board!!!

Welcome Aboard  . Post some pics of your boat in the virtual marina :smt024 .

Scott, I'm probably going to be on Castle Rock a couple of times this year, most of my family is there. Congrats on the 240.

We had a 2000 240 and loved it! Matter of fact, our old boat just moved back on our dock a year after we sold it! She still looks great....besides the name change!

Hey Scott welcome .......glad to have you aboard....

You might have to take a few "hits" for the Can boat...wait...Can boat...beerman....HMMMM....sounds like a defense....

From one cheese head to another – welcome!

Where do you plan on boating? Castle Rock? Are you familiar with the Castle Rock boat rally? It’s a ‘all brand’ type of family boat rally. It leads up to the Winnebago Rally over by Lake Winnebago. About a 2 hour drive for you.

thanks

Just wanted to thank everyone. This looks like a wonderful group. To jarhead, hope to get up to castle rock a few times this summer. We've been to a few places by car last summer-love the dirty turtle and shipwreck. We'll have to try to meet up its only an hour from home. To presentation--I believe I met you up at the Green bay boat show a couple weeks back--my wife and i were there talking to marinas. I want to spend most my summer between castle rock and lake winnebago. And last to bridog--i sell almost everything besides miller, bud and liennies. We have coors lt, corona, mikes, smirnoff, spotted cow, guinness and I could keep going. Must go, can't wait for april--freezing rain right now.later

Welcome Beerman.

Heard of all the beers in your list except "Spotted Cow"...going to have to google that one.

re spotted cow

Spotted Cow is made in New Glarus Wisconsin. It is currently the #1 micro in the state of wis. They used to dist. it in Minnesota and Ill. but couldn't keep up to the demand. They also have other great beers like Fat Squirrell, road slush, tail wagger and the list goes on. If your ever up in this neck of the woods, oops still in camping mode, i meen water, let me know. We can tip a couple of cows.

Doug we have the same idea...Free beer. :smt038

Beerman - I have some snow birds from WI in my condo for the winter. I plan on making it a prerequisite for their return to bring me some of the Raspberry Flavored Ale. The beer web site is pretty nice. Wonder if I could get a Sea Ray with a mirco brewery under the sink?

snow,snow,snow

Love the Raspberry. The belgium red is excellent also. Hey look its snowing and sleeting again. How many days till spring?

Hey beerman,
