Hi everyone! I've been an avid forum reader and Sea Ray owner for one year now. So, I thought that it was about time to make it official and join CSR. I'm retired and my wife and I live near Syracuse, NY. We bought a new, leftover, 2009 Sea Ray 270 Sundancer and keep it at Hutchinson's Boat Works in Alexandria Bay, NY, in the Thousand Islands. Great boat, beautiful location, and outstanding service from Hutchinson's--it doesn't get much better than that! Hopefully, we'll run into some fellow members on the river this summer. Cheers! Hey glad you took the plunge and joined. Welcome and we are glad to have you...

Aloha,

My wife and I are signing for a slip at the same docks as you are at, I believe we will be near the Alexbay pier dockage they have.
how about this weather we are having, lol. See you out there

We were lucky enough to have enjoyed some boating in your area last year. If we make it up there this year, we will keep an eye out for you.
Do you have a name on your boat?

Welcome, I too bought my current boat at HBW. Great group up there. The boating is just as wonderful!!

Cheers,

WWelcome aboard.

Welcome to CSR - glad to officially have you in the family now.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes! Hutchinson's has two dockage areas. We are located near the main town dock, on the other side of town from the showroom and boat house. Yes, we named the boat and we hope to finally get the lettering on this summer. The semifinalists were "Desert Dream III" and "Cheers". However, the winner was "In the Mood". I'm still trying to figure out a lettering design that I like. Also, since the canvas attaches so low on the transom, I need to have the letters embroidered on the stern canvas too. Cheers! Phil

Hi again. Sorry I'm so computer impaired. I thought that I'd fixed the signature page to include a boat pic--hopefully, third time's a charm?

Phil and Chris,

We just confirmed our slip location, right in front of the 'club house.' Works perfectly for us as we were in Swan Bay, and ended up riding to Alex Bay almost every weekend anyway.
'Luna Sea' about to be changed to 'Pandemonium' i believe.

Look forward to finally starting the season... maybe... it will prob be snowing in June this year.

James and Sara

James and Sara,

Good deal, we'll see you up there! We're currently in slip #5, behind the fuel dock. However, we're hoping to move over to #3 if the current occupants change spots like they said they were planning to. I'm really tempted to put the boat in early, but I'm sure that would only guarantee a freak late season snow storm. Cheers! Phil

Is this in the first covered slips just past the fuel dock on the way in? We are just across the river @ Ed Huck Marine @ Rockport.

Welcome Aboard. Alex Bay is a great place to be. We used to make it an yearly event with some friends when we were younger. I used to trailer my 18ft up. They tore down the Fisherman's Wharf where we used to stay. Lots of good boating there, hope you are enjoying 270.

Welcome Phil and Chris and congrats on the new fiberglass! We get up the river from Sacketts many times a year. We will look for you when we hit the HBW. Most of our nights are spent on the Canadian side on one of their park islands, we still have a good number to stay at before we can say we hit them all. I understand the Riversedge is now renting docks for the season also.

Hi Ken,

No, we are on the other side of town--Hutchinson's has two separate dockage areas and two fuel docks. We are near the upper James St. village dock(where the US customs check-in is located). Cheers! Phil
