Hello from the Pacific Northwest

Thanks Brian. I would appreciate the photos. You can email them to spinners110722@yahoo.com. I am rebuilding the seats rather than just buying new ones. The one thing that I found different is the engine cover. On the brochures and in other photos it looks like there is some sort of logo and Vee shaped insert, and wood cover on top. Mine is all black and has a piece of plywood on top. The anchor box you refer to, I'm not sure what that is? Is that the console between the dash and the passenger side? Of course one other thing that doesn't show in the photos, all the ones I've seen seem to have wood hand rails on the fore deck. Mine doesn't and some previous owner painted the deck blue. (probably to reduce glare)

AKBASSKING, you're going the wrong way. We retirees are supposed to head South. LOL. On the other hand, I've been to Alaska, and even though it was in the dead of winter, it was beautiful! Of course the Aluetians, Adak, Dutch Harbor and the Pribiloffs are not exactly tourist destinations. I hope you have a good smooth trip up the inside passage. I've also been up and down the lower Columbia twice. It was beautiful too and I had great times at the Rose Festival.

I have a question for PNW boaters. A good friend recently moved to Camano Island, WA and is thinking of getting a boat. He and his wife really enjoyed salmon fishing near Deception Pass this past year, but thinks he may want to buy a fishing boat by next summer. Any recommendations, particularly on size, for boating and fishing in the Camano Island area waters?

The best fishing boats for around here are the aluminum ones.

Coldwaters are very, very nice. Have him head into the Boat show starting Jan 27th.

The one in front is a friend of a friends and is completely custom.

Welcome Ike, Check out my profile as I redid my interior a couple seasons ago. Great to see the older boats being restored. BTW I like your cooler seat boxes. Good start.
