Hello from Lake Erie

Long time lurker, first time poster. Upgraded from a '87 300 Dancer to a '01 340 Dancer last year. I have learned allot from this forum. Thanks for the advice!

We boat out of Sandusky Bay (by Cedar Point) in Ohio. Countless trips to the Lake Erie Islands, few trips to Cleveland, Lake St. Clair, and even Lake Huron on friends boats. We are hooked...

Welcome to CSR. I had two different 330 Dancers and loved both of them. I think that size Dancer is just about the perfect boat for the Great Lakes. Seaworthy, stout as hell, comfortable and fairly easy to single hand it if you want to just spend some time aboard alone.

Thanks for the welcome all. If there is one thing I have seen here compared to other boards is this place is really active and friendly! Just stay out of politics (just like the dock)...HA HA!

North Channel Yacht Club is one of the most impressive places I have ever been. An island of boaters running a marina for boaters. We had a big group with a range of ages and some teens, the people there treated us great. Just be careful when you ring the bell.

We almost stayed in St Clair a few years ago when we discovered NCYC... great dingy spot too
