Great website ... I've been lurking here for only a short while.

My wife and I live just outside Charlotte, NC in a small town called Fort Mill. We are pretty new to boating and have been testing the waters for the past few years trying to find a boat that fits all our needs. The Sea Ray is our 4th boat in 2 years.

I just sold our 2000 Regal 2100-LSR bowrider and originally considered our new 1988 Sea Ray Seville C/C a downgrade until we started using it. I bought it simply because it was a good deal and I wanted to stay floating after selling the Regal. We spent our first night (overnight) on it a few weeks ago on Lake Wylie, we really enjoyed ourselves. My wife likes having a warm place to hide in the cuddy after the sun sets, I enjoy staying out later because she stays happy longer.

We're in our early 30's with no children (yet). She's a business analyst and I work for a company that builds docks on the local lakes.

Hope to meet some of the locals on our beautiful lakes. We hope to travel around to some other lakes nearby too.

Here's a photo of our 20 year old beauty:

Welcome Aboard  . Post some pics of your boat in the virtual marina :smt024 . The boat looks great doesn't look like a 19 year old gal

Welcome to the board casey334. There are a couple of Lake Wylie boaters on this board; Islandhopper00, Dave S and myself. We spend alot of time at High Rock Lake as well. The boat looks great!!! There should be alot of Sea Ray owners on Lake Wylie next Saturday because of Aquapolooza!!! Hope to see you out there. You will want to put your boat information in your signature (year, model, motor, etc). Again welcome to CSR, there are alot of great members here!!!

 Wesley

wow how big is that cuddy cabin? big enough for 2 people to fit comfortable?

Definately comfortable for two. I'm almost positive we were the first to sleep on it. The cuddy is in like new condition.

Welcome to CSR, great looking boat.

Hi Casey and welcome to the board. I live in Fort Mill also just outside Tega Cay and we have our boat moored at Lake Wylie Marina.

It's good to have you with us.

Thank you

Thank you ... the boat has been a bit of a cosmetic project. It was pink when I bought it. We're about halfway through restoring the color, big improvement but still not quite where I think I can get it to.

The boat was purchased new from Lake Wylie marina and spent it's life on a covered lift in Tega Cay. The boat was sold with the house to it's 2nd owners in 2000. Shortly after the original engine developped a knock and died. In 2001 the engine was replaced (not rebuilt) and hardly saw any use at all. Both owners were great at keeping all the maintenance records, I love having a documented history.

Nice Ride. She's a beauty. Love the classics. Welcome aboard.
-Mike
