My first post since intro. Well I have been working on our SR for about 30 days now. The SR has been a learning curve, but I like challenges. I let my nephew talk me into taking it for a trial run right after I bought it :smt021 yea before I looked it over. Can u say hot :smt013 I can now. The boat had set for three years:wow:. I should have known to replace the lower pump right off the rip, but his excitement spilled onto me and now after a month of fixing damage, replacing wires we will be splashing this coming weekend. I replaced all but the bellows holding the drive shaft it was the only piece of rubber to survive. I went through the engine (I hate that much grease and oil) but my hands are coming clean finally anything else I should check/replace:huh: oh 1000 gph rear and 600 gph front bilge :grin:

Nope. I just use it to manuver it into position in the curved driveway we have. A helluva lot easier moving it with something half the length of our Dodge 4x4. I just wanted to see if the Jeeper would do it.

ok i can understand that....i was gonna say. I see enough idiots towing 24ft+ boats with jeep wrangler all summer long by me and it scares the **** out of me. I don't even want to be near them.:smt013:smt013 Their towing rating is what 3-4k max!:smt021 Glad to hear you just use it in the driveway.:thumbsup:

Ok I replaced the boots and now I have a leak in the y pipe connectors the allen head bolts are not locktighted and water is leaking in 900 gallons hr actual bilge pumping went to lake Erie first time in a long time boat ran great did not like the leak though was fishing 7 hrs and drained one batt between the frige and bilge still great time. the shop said the only way to fix is to pull the motor!

We are happy :smt038 that your kids love :smt001 those things :smt009 but it sure does :thumbsup: make it hard to try :smt100 and read your post when these :smt101 keep our little brains confused :wow:. Maybe throw one at the end :smt021 so people can get through the questions :huh:and comments with less difficulty.:grin:

Hey welcome to the board huh? Once Four Sons initiates you then everything is usually OK. And everybody else just likes to pick and have a good time every now and then.
