Don’t forget to get ‘The Devil’s Teeth’, about the white sharks in the red triangle, from Port Marin, CA south to Monterrey Bay, and out to Farralon Islands. It’s a very neat story, and All true! If I remember the stat correctly, more white shark attacks on humans in this red triangle than anywhere else on earth…(documented).

Heart of the sea is the factual account a whale sinking the ship Essex that was the basis for Mody Dick. But the people in Moby Dick got off easy by dying, on the Essex, they abandoned ship, floated in whale skiffs for month in the pacific and resorted to cannabalism. Look up Essex sinking.
