Good evening my brothers, going to Jacksonville for another heart ablation surgery tomorrow at 11:00 am, Please say a word/prayer, this is third attempt, I hope they get it the am, see you guys on the dark side!!! ;)

Will be thinking about him, Hopefully they can take care of the issue today.

Wish you the best! It’s like family on this forum so let us know if we can help in any way. Heck you’re at the Mayo so pretty sure that’s one of the best facilities in the country!

I wish Sea Ray had something to cardiovert me every time I'm about to dock..
Just kidding! Good luck with the procedure and wish you a speedy recovery.

Best wishes and tell him not to give up. My father in law had severe afib and underwent 5 ablation surgeries and countless cardioverts trying to cure it. When nothing worked they finally installed a pacemaker and severed (ablated) the AV-node rendering the heart dependent on the pacemaker if his beats dropped to far. Turns out his resting heart rate after the AV-node ablation was right around 60 bpm which is darn near perfect. Once this was done he finally had relief from the regular afib and this is going on two years ago. At first there was apprehension associated with the thought of being dependent on the pacemaker but research shows that these devices are so advanced that failures are practically non-existent. Further more with a resting heart rate of 60 bpm the risk was very low. I'm sure you have researched the heck out of this procedure but I have attached a good site that helped me understand this disease.
