Hello everyone and thanks in advance for any info you may be able to share with me.
I just bought this 1990 sundancer( first boat ever) I had it out today and seem to be experiencing issues with the Jabsco head. It will not pump out waste...no paper or solid has been put in it, nor will it pull in water .
The other issue was that at the pump out station it would not pump out. I made sure hose was tightly against the waste pump out opening , tried priming the pump hose with lake water but nothing helped. I also tried pouring water into pump out hole but after maybe a quart it acted like it was full but nothing would pump out of tank.
Could I be looking at a clog?
Also is there a seacock I am not finding for the head operation?
Thanks in advance!

There should be a seacock for your flush. Look at your head. The big hose carries waste to the tank, the small hose supplies water. Just follow the small hose and it will lead you to the seacock. And do not leave the seacock open when you're not on the boat. There should also be a dry/wet switch on the head, so make sure its on wet.

Assuming there's something in the tank to pump out, can't advise on that problem.

See if you have a Y-valve and a macerator. You can't use these on a lake, but if you have those... and the y-valve is directing towards the macerator, and the macerator's seacock is closed, that could explain it - at least in part.

We have the same boat, first for us too. The seacock is in the engine bay. Has a hose coming from it, apx 1" dia or so. Ours had a problem with a bad grounding lug. The Jabsco unit would not power up. The previous owner had issues and replaced the head unit, still no power, jumped it with a battery and found that the unit would power up. The old one powered up too. We traced the power line back and found the ground lug was corroded. Keep the checks simple, write them down so you can tell us what you did too :)
