Havre de Grace - Blues Festival

We are considering going to the Blues Festival at HDG on 6/28 (right after BIH!). A few questions -

1. Has anyone been and can you share your impressions?
2. Recommendations for the best marina there?
3. Anyone interested in going?

I forgot all about it and to close to plan.

Have not been there for the Blues Festival so can't comment. Otherwise HDG is a great stop on the Upper Bay. I think Tidewater Marina is the best bet - good location, close to downtown shops and restaurants, but if the festival is held at Tydings Park - pretty long walk or marina has a free shuttle.

Another marina option - Heron Harbor Marina. It was still being built last time we were in HDG so no personal experience, but it is brand new (floating docks) so probably a good option.
