Having trouble understanding current events

It took you a couple hours to come up with that addition to your posto_O:rolleyes: Who you regurgitating this time?
Thought it summed up the week quite nicely when I saw it posted somewhere. Enjoy.

Many people are saying this reads like the thoughts of a completely innocent man!

PS, send money, suckers!!!

This is unbelievable. FJB and the MSM

Biden WH asks Twitter “please ban this troublesome journalist.”
Big Tech oligarchs happily oblige. Then lose lawsuit.
Will any “journalists” ask Biden why the hell his WH is trying to silence & censor journalists?

Inflation Reduction Act...what a bunch of bullshit...

'One thing the Inflation Reduction Act is not expected to do, according to multiple analyses, is reduced inflation. The Congressional Budget Office said the bill will have "a negligible effect" on inflation in 2022, and in 2023 its impact would range between reducing inflation by 0.1% and increasing it by 0.1%.'

Ministry of Truth, newspeak.

Accomplishing the same thing as the 'Affordable Healthcare Act' (as my premiums have went up over 200% since it was enacted)

Even Hilary will be helping Trump, deleting tens of thousands of subpoenaed e-mails/documents... she decided what was classified, what was personal, and what the FBI could have back.

Some of Hilary's stuff ended up on Huma's laptop, maybe she had clearance, but classified stuff also was on Anthony Weiners laptop, I doubt he had clearance. Who knows what that perv 'Carlos Danger' might have done with classified material...but apparently in that case the 'chain of custody' was not a big deal for the Feds.

There is classified and there is 'need to know'. Even if you have top secret clearance that doesn't give full range to any documents. If there is not a 'need to know' then you shouldn't be seeing it. So I'm sure Hillary violated some gov't protocol.

The HRC incident and the Trump raid are not close to comparable. The courts have ruled the presidents have unequivocal power to classify and declassify at will and that rules for federal employees do not apply to presidents.

HRC was never president, (oh how I loved typing that) so the employee regulations apply to her.

So to recap, HRC, an employee, broke the laws pertaining to classified material handling and was not even given a hand slap but Trump, a President is raided. In what parallel universe is this?

The one that starts a new revolution

Mike, what you said about declassifying documents but it's my understanding that power granted to a president only applies when he is the president. Not after he leaves the office.

It's also true that SECSTATE is an Original Classification Authority (OCA). The president's powers regarding classification are formally delegated to a small handful of OCAs in the area under their purview and they can theoretically classify and declassify at will just like the president. But, only for while they are in the job, also like the president.
