Having trouble understanding current events

All I know is that in the last 100 days the world has turned into a chit show. And the Republicrats are nowhere to be seen. They should be hanging an anchor around Joe, but crickets.

The republican party is too busy fighting itself. The party is torn apart because some won't let Trump go. The party needs to act on a united front and move away from Trump. The experiment ended in disaster, a total loss of power to the dems. If the party does not understand that the direction they were headed in was not what the people wanted then they will never win back control.

Impeachment will never work for any President that has already been proven.

Tell that to Pelosi who is hanging on by a thread.

And I agree they should begin to treat Trump like a former President. Someone should take up his "America First" policies -- "trump without the baggage" wins in a landslide. Unfortunately, they got nobody as of yet.

They will have someone lots of young blood coming into the party, just need to weed out the old ones that have tainted the party.

Saw a hysterical meme the other day, with Harris pictured behind Biden, the caption read, Harris concerned there will be no country for her to ruin when she finally becomes president...

An organization should always look to its enemies for suggestions on how to run the party. LOL
 
My take, like I told wife today, they said, 600,000 US citizens died from Covid. Divide by 50 states. That’s 12k per state. Ya ya I know California has more people than Wyoming but work with me. I live in Maryland a very populated states and I don’t know anyone who got Covid or know anybody that knows anyone that got it. So I calling bullshit on the numbers. And I’m the liberalist lib that ever libd a lib.

not "from" COVID. According to the CDC's own data, only 6% of those deaths are due solely to the virus -- so that would be what: 36,000 or so?

In our state 2/3 of the deaths have been nursing home residents.

I know people around here who are fully vaccinated, hanging out with other people who are also fully vaccinated, and everyone is wearing one or sometimes two masks. Which is why a lot of it is gonna be optional because some people are admitting they will voluntarily wear as mask for a while, if not indefinitely. To each his own.

I tried to find it but since the last time I was on the CDC site months ago, most of the info is on the vaccines now, so you have to really dig for the stats.

I remember hearing the head of public health in Illinois do a press conference, and she was asked specifically about how they count the deaths. She said anyone who dies, for whatever reason like heart attack, car accident etc: if they are COVID-positive that counts as a COVID death.
 
So what you’re telling us is that isn’t a Russian recruitment video, it’s all for fun? Edit: I’m just trying to understand what you typed - Russians don’t recruit but they do recruit.....is it an internal video?
