anyone have a rough dollar per mile figure to make an estimate of hauling costs? vessel in question is an EC330, 10100 pounds dry, 35 X 11.5...500 miles...

Figure $5 to $7 /mile...........but, boat shipping prices vary all over the map depending upon the quality of the hauler and whether he has insurance on your boat or not, whether he can arrange a back haul or not, the equipment he needs to use for your job, and of course, how hungry he is.

Get a real quote..........and be sure that you have insurance covering your insurable interest in the boat. Not all marine policies cover the value of a boat in transit.

When you call for a quote, make sure you have the LOA, width plus the height to the upper most point of any attachments. Depending on location of transport, items may need to be removed (radar, gps antenna, tv antenna or even the arch/top itself) if bridge clearance is an issue. PLUS make sure you quote includes any additional fees such as oversize load permits or flag car(s) that may be required by the local jurisdictions being traveled through. It sounds that this boat (at least weight wise) will fit on a standard 3 axel trailer so height may not be an issue.
