HAs Anyone, replaced the Helm Seating Yet?

Just a question, Has anyone replaced their Helm Seating Yet, Like ina DB or even a sundancer, And where would you be able to buy a New Helm Bench seat to replace the two Captains Chairs that come on a DB..

I upgraded the helm chairs to Pompanettes last winter. I am very happy with the upgrade. Much more substantial seats and very comfortable. This thread has the upgrade (and more stuff done last winter).

You would undoubtedly have to do some retrofitting to make it work though. It wouldn't work well on my boat, as the helm seats are offset a little. I'm not sure it adds a whole lot of value to be in a bench vs. a single and there would certainly be a minus. You are a lot more secure in the single seat with the two arm rests. Don't think I'd want to be sliding around in more severe conditions.

If you do go the bridge boat route, you may want to try the seat configuration before trying to change to a bench.
